BrickCan, Vancouver, BC.
It was a tremendous honor and privilege to deliver an abridged 30-minute version of my LEGO Architecture talk during the Keynote at BrickCan, Vancouver’s LEGO Convention. I was preceded by none other than Justin Ramsden, a LEGO set designer on the Superheroes theme, who visited the convention from LEGO HQ in Billund.

Bricks Cascade Convention, Portland, OR.
I am doing a longer version of my talk for attendees of the four-day Bricks Cascade convention. This is an intense LEGO convention aimed at Adult LEGO Enthusiasts. I will be signing books, and will have books available for sale throughout the convention.
My presentations at Bricks Cascade were well received, both by the general public and the more in-depth talk aimed at the AFOL community. It’s always a pleasure to have a warm response and thoughtful questions from the audience.

I am excited to sign books and answer questions at the Bellevue Barnes and Noble store. Barnes and Noble has a great LEGO selection, and it is just a few blocks from the Bellevue Square mall.

10/23/2015 Update: Thank you to the folks who came to my talk and book signing. People seemed really interested in the presentation, which gave a brief history of the book, followed by a look at popular architectural styles using LEGO examples.

I am excited to speak with fans of the book and sign books during the BrickCon LEGO Exhibition. You can find me Saturday at 2:00 PM at the No Starch Press booth, where you will be able to buy copies of the book if you haven’t already (while supplies last!) I will also have the models included in the book on display as part of the main convention.
